Nina Tahija, LMSW, LCDC is a Primary Treatment Therapist at The Council on Recovery. She currently works as an individual and group therapist for adults struggling with addiction and other mental health struggles. Nina is passionate about applying trauma-informed care in her work with clients. Along with earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston, Nina is a certified trauma sensitive yoga facilitator (TCTSY-F) and trained in Internal Family Systems (Level 1). In addition to obtaining her clinical license, Nina plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Work with a research focus on addressing the disparity of mental health care for Asian and Asian American communities.
