Ms. Bharwani is the Assistant Dean for Field Education and Community Partnerships at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, and Professor of the Practice. In her current role, she oversees the field educaiton prorgam for four MSW prorgams including one online program, two distance rural campus based programs, and one large urban campus based prorgam. Prior to joining the team in Jan 2018, she served as the Director of Field Education for seven years at another University, where she built their MSW Field Education program, developing all field education policies, processes, and programming. Before entering the role higher education in 2011, she worked for over 8 years engaged in direct client work and in program development and administration. Passionate about both tennis and developing leadership skills, she has provided trainings to agency supervisors working with interns on communication, feedback, and effective supervision. She is skilled in managing change and adapting and developing prorgams and processes to meet evolving needs.
