Lois Marie Clay Stepney, MSW, LISW-S is the newly appointed Curriculum Director at The Ohio State University College of Social Work, where she previously served as the MSW Program Director from 2016 to the 2019-2020 Academic Year. Ms. Stepney is a passionate adult educator who has taught social work practice courses in the College for the past 18 years. Ms. Stepney has utilized her social work skills in the Columbus, OH community working primarily with children, adolescents and their adult caregivers, for most of her 25 years in the profession. Ms. Stepney’s passions include training the next generation of social workers for leadership and empowering other helping professionals with the knowledge and tools to increase their own emotional wellbeing and resilience. She is interested in research in the areas of social work pedagogy, social justice, and the promotion of resilience and emotional wellbeing in helping professionals.
