Preston Osborn holds a BA in psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University, MSW from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and is currently working toward his PhD from the Ohio State University College of Social Work. He has worked in the field as a case manager to support individuals experiencing homeless, substance addiction, and severe mental illness. Additionally, he has worked as an instructor for positive youth development and student support programs in both urban and rural settings across Colorado. Generally, his research is focused on the education, training, and support of social work practitioners - including the development of anti-oppressive skills among students and professionals, the support of social work students from historically marginalized groups, and evidence-based pedagogy and training interventions for social workers in various contexts.
