Hyesu Yeo is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Georgia School of Social Work (UGA SSW). She currently focuses on studying the trends of older workers’ labor market participation in the U.S. for her dissertation. Her research interests include aging policy, labor policy, low-income workers, life-course labor, the retirement process, and life after retirement. Coming to UGA was her best choice as the university has a great environment with actively supportive faculty members and staff for her study. Before the Ph.D. program, Yeo worked as a researcher focused on retirement and aging policies at the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training and managed the Seoul National University’s social contribution project at the Institute for Global Social Responsibility in Seoul, South Korea
