Serve as director of the Kutztown University Doctor of Social Work (DSW) program and teach DSW dissertation seminar. Teach BSW/MSW micro/mezzo practice, individuals/families/groups; seminar, graduate capstone, DSM-5 elective. Research and publications are in the areas of behavioral health, psychopathology, & the DSM; substance use disorders; social worker safety & risk management; trauma as measured through the ACE scale and correlation with choice of social work as a career. Earned MSW at Temple, Philadelphia; PhD at Rutgers, NJ.
