Elizabeth (Beth) K. Klein is a doctoral student at Boston College. She received her Master's Degree at the School of Social Service Administration (now the Crown Family School of Social Work Policy and Practice) at the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on community relationships and partnership building, educational and health outcomes for displaced and conflict-affected communities, using post-colonial frameworks and anti-racist theories. In her doctoral program, she has worked on R01 NIMH and NICHD-funded programs in Sierra Leone and William T. Grant Foundation funded programs in the greater Boston area. Beth has worked in community-based and public school systems in Chicago, France, and Thailand, implementing social and emotional support programs and managing emergency relief initiatives.
