Robert G. Hasson III, Ph.D., LICSW is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Providence College. He holds a BA in Psychology from Saint Michael’s College, and a MSW and Ph.D. in Social Work from the Boston College School of Social Work. Robert’s research focuses on the intersection of child welfare and immigration, with a goal of informing the development of clinical interventions and polices to serve children and adolescents exposed to trauma as a result of separation from caregivers or forced migration. He currently teaches two courses in the social work department, SWK 253: Human Behavior Through the Lifespan and SWK 368: Research. In addition to his research and teaching, Robert maintains a small private practice in Brookline, Massachusetts.
