Mingyang Zheng is a doctoral candidate at the University of Minnesota. He received his B.A. in business administration from Beijing Normal University-Zhuhai in 2011 and his M.S.W. from Boston University in 2013. After completing his M.S.W., he worked as a case manager in a community-housing agency in New York. He also worked as a social worker in China with older adults and children with disabilities. Mingyang is primarily interested in evaluating the sustainability and the effectiveness of social welfare, housing, and health policies in order to promote better long-term care options for older adults.
