Amy Levine, MSW, LCSW is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Social Work. She has a social work practice background in child welfare and mental health and was a child and adolescent therapist for 12 years. Amy works in the field education program and teaches in the MSW curriculum in the areas of mental health and child welfare. Amy’s practice and research interests include trauma-informed models of care, child and adolescent mental health, the intersection of child welfare and behavioral health services, and professional resilience and well-being. Amy also does research and publication in the area of field education pedagogy and social justice in social work field education.
