Mi Jin Choi, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at Texas State University. Her current research projects focus on: (1) factors associated with the provision of child welfare services for maltreated children (e.g., race/ethnicity, family economic status) and the intersectionality of those factors; (2) health-related and developmental outcomes of children and adolescents, primarily those who are exposed to violence (e.g., abuse, neglect, and bullying); (3) social work education and child welfare workforce development.
