Rebecca Cole is a licensed clinical social worker supervisor in Texas. After ten years of direct practice providing crisis intervention services, Rebecca pursued a goal working towards a PhD in social work. Currently in her second year, Rebecca has demonstrated a great appreciation of social work research for social workers by social workers. Rebecca's has experience with both qualitative and quantitative research. Rebecca has completed qualitative research with Dr. Sophia Fantus examining moral distress. Additionally, she has gained tremendous research experience and contributions from Dr. Noelle Fields with her environmental research. This current research endeavor comes with support from Dr. Fields and is informed by Rebecca's previous work in crisis intervention working with individuals and families experiencing mental health crises. Rebecca's research interests center around technology and its role and impact on different populations. Rebecca's other research interests remain in the intersection of psychiatric social work and crisis intervention. Rebecca hopes to pursue mixed-methods research in the future around her research interests. She continues to provide clinical supervision for social worker seeking to expand their license.
