Jordyn Hagar is a licensed clinical social worker with 18 years of experience providing therapy, conducting clinical supervision, and developing and implementing continuing education trainings, community-based programming, and educational interventions. She is currently Project Director for a SAMHSA Mental Health Awareness Training grant and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Social Work at Providence College and at Simmons University. She is also a PhD candidate at Simmons University School of Social Work. Her research focuses on social justice and individual and organizational change, particularly among students and professionals, within educational institutions, and with regard to the social determinants of health.
