Brendon T. Holloway (he/they), MSW is a PhD Candidate and Adjunct Faculty in the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver. He received an MSW from the University of Michigan in 2017 and a BSW from Middle Tennessee State University in 2015. Brendon's work is rooted in abolitionist praxis and critical approaches to addressing systemic failures, particularly in health care. His research centers trans and nonbinary communities with focuses on health care, mutual aid, and gender euphoria and trans joy. Additionally, Brendon is interested in weight stigma, critical social justice issues in social work education, and activism among social work students.
