Jennifer Maguire is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Cal Poly Humboldt. She serves as the Executive Director for the Center for Equitable Higher Education (CEHE) at Humboldt, and Co-Chair of the CSU Basic Needs Research Consortium (BNRC). She co-authored the book titled, "Addressing Homelessness and Housing Insecurity in Higher Education: Strategies for Educational Leaders" with Drs. Hallett and Crutchfield. She works collectively with students, scholars, practitioners, and community leaders on a variety of innovative evaluation, research and direct service projects aimed to transform how students’ basic needs are met in the California State University (CSU), as well as works to advocate for policy redesign to better serve students in California higher education.
