Dr. Lee’s research focuses on developing and applying mathematical modeling methods to evaluate public health issues related to end-of-life care. His methodological interests include integrating the individual-, cultural-, environmental-level differences and their impact on accessing the quality of death, such as palliative care. He is currently investigating how countries’ wealthiness (e.g., GDP, GDP per capita) and the levels of the political regime (e.g., autocracy and democracy) may impact delivering such care across the nations.
