Adam Schneider teaches and learns at the University of Maryland School of Social Work (UMSSW), where he serves as a clinical instructor – facilitating courses on community organizing, social policy, legislative advocacy, and social action. He has graduate degrees from the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland’s School of Social Work. Adam has worked as an outreach worker, case manager, policy advocate, and community organizer with people who are living in poverty and without housing. In addition to his work at the UMSSW, Adam is a member and supporter of several grassroots initiatives undertaken by people who are deprived of housing that seek to overturn the dominant paradigm and create more just society.
