Laura Loessner, LICSW, LCSW-C is Assistant Director for Field Education at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work, where she oversees experiential education for more than 700 students. In 2019, Laura led the effort to launch a new field seminar rooted in cultural humility and anti-oppressive practice for nearly 400 foundation-level MSW students each year that continues today. Laura also serves on the Executive Board for the Mid-Atlantic Consortium of Social Work Field Educators, is a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, and has been a licensed clinical social worker since 1996. Her areas of expertise include clinical supervision, non-profit management, professional development, and field education for MSW students.
