Eileen Starr, LCSW, Ph.D. is an associate professor at MSU-Denver in the MSW program since 2016. She is licensed in Colorado, Delaware, Maryland (inactive) and maintains a robust private telehealth practice. Prior to accepting a faculty appointment, Eileen was a community-based clinical social worker and school-based mental health program (SBMH) supervisor with Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services, LLC (UBCSS) in Cecil and Harford County, Maryland. Eileen has a B.A. in education from Marywood Catholic University, Scranton, Pa, MSW, and Ph.D. from Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania. She is "first-gen," born and raised in Newark, Delaware, relocating to Colorado to accept a faculty position at MSU-Denver.
Eileen's dissertation took her to Northern Ireland for a term, focusing on the impact of cross-community programs in segregated Northern Ireland.
