Barbara Pierce is an Associate Professor of Social Work at the Indiana University School of Social Work. She teaches doctoral courses in social theory and community-engaged participatory action research and trauma and family therapy in the MSW program. She is a Robert Wood Johnson Clincial Scholar Fellow and currently engaged in bringing trauma responsive services to school personnel. Her major interests include emancipatory pedagogy, participatory action research, and implementation science in child serving agencies.
