She is passionate about social action, advocacy, and justice in African American communities and has dedicated a great deal of her time in the social service field providing aid to marginalized populations. Recently, Simone started Sexual Trauma and Assault Resources Inc. (S.T.A.R. Inc.), a nonprofit organization seeking to end sexual violence in marginalized populations and empower survivors of sexual trauma and abuse.
Currently, her goals are to guide individuals in addressing, healing, and recovering from sexual trauma and dysfunction. Simone plans to help individuals and couples enhance sexual well-being by teaching sexuality education, promoting sexual awareness, and reducing guilt, shame, and stigma associated with human sexuality. And, as an advocate for equality, she is committed to promoting policies that protect the rights and lives of sexual minority groups.
