Doctoral Candidate
University of Denver
Denver, Colorado, United States
I am a integrated health scholar, and I received my MSW from Washington University in St. Louis, and I am currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Denver. My research is centered on the intersection of wellbeing, mental health, and healthcare service implementation and the impact of healthcare work on healthcare workers. Specifically, I am interested in elevating the experiences of mental health workers in healthcare through studying how the work they engage in impacts their own clinician wellbeing. In my research, I use mixed methodologies to understand the impact of healthcare work more deeply on mental health workers through qualitative strategies, while also testing and assessing scales used to measure wellbeing for mental health workers. My long-term goals include using intervention science to create resources and programs to improve and protect healthcare mental health workers as whole people and to best support them to implement services for their patients and families.
