Magdalena Calderón-Orellana is adjunct professor at Escuela de Trabajo Social, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and she is pursuing a PhD in Management in Facultad de Administración y Economía, Chile, Universidad de Santiago de Chile where she is studying the relation of diversity, identity conflict and wellbeing in social services workers. Her research interests are social work management, health and care workers' wellbeing, and social workers' and care workers' identity.
She has been social work field practice supervisor and professor of practice courses for 12 years in various universities, and several years of training, mainly in the organizational social work area. In this way, she has conducted the teaching-learning process of students who have worked in companies, unions, public services, and NGOs
