Selina Miller Forsyth is a PhD Research Assistant for the Social Policy Institute and a social work doctoral student at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research focuses on household financial security among vulnerable populations. Before beginning her doctoral work, Selina ran a financial coaching service at a small non-profit, where she developed an intervention to help low-income individuals build an emergency savings fund. Selina holds an M.S.W. from Brigham Young University.
