Cornelius Dudzai holds a Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work both obtained from the University of Zimbabwe in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Currently, Cornelius has been enrolled for PhD studies within the University of Wollongong’s School of Health and Society. Cornelius is a vibrant upcoming academic with passion in social work teaching and research. Cornelius is currently working as a lecturer for social work at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University. He also teaches Social Work at Africa University on a part-time basis. He has also taught social work at the University of Zimbabwe and Women’s University in Africa in different capacities; Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Zimbabwe from 2017 to 2018 and Teaching Assistant at the same institution from 2019 to 2020. Cornelius served as a Part-Time Lecturer at Women’s University in Africa from 2019 to 2020. The young researcher has passion in environmental social work, human rights, corruption and anticorruption management mechanisms, social justice and social development. To date, Cornelius has published eight papers and book chapters in refereed journals and book chapters. Besides, Cornelius has intense passion in facilitating environmentally-driven community development. He holds the belief that the natural environment possesses significant potential in raising the quality of life and wellbeing of its occupants and what is key is for communities to find ways via which they can leverage community development that is anchored on the natural environment. He is also a social work educator who is holistic in his approach to education and practice.
