April Diaz is currently a PhD candidate in the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare. Broadly, her research pertains to power and privilege in social change, both in the U.S. and abroad. Within this area, specific veins of interest include youth activism, intersectionality in activist experiences, and anti-oppressive practices within the context of progressive social change work.
