As an international student from Taiwan, I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in School of Social Work at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. I received a Master in Sociology (later separated as Department of Social Work) in National Taiwan University, and is a licensed social worker in Taiwan. Additionally, I graduated from Master of Social Work program at School of Social Work at Rutgers in 2018 with a certificate on “Aging and Health”. I am a licensed social worker in New Jersey. My dissertation focuses on the impacts of intimate partner violence on financial wellbeing and mental health as well as financial education intervention in the US. I have been an adjunct faculty member for Research Method and Policy Analysis courses at the Rutgers MSW program.
