Dr. Robert Rosales, PhD, LCSW is an Assistant Professor at the Brown University School of Public Health Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences and is affiliated with the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies (CAAS). He recieved his BA from Clark University and his MSW and PhD from the Boston College School of Social Work. He also recieved postdoctoral training from the CAAS on behavioral health and culturally adapted interventions. His research focuses on the effects of structural and interpersonal minority stress on behavioral health. He currently holds a Mentored Clinical Scientist Research Career Development Award (K08) from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities to recieve training and conduct research on the daily association between minority stress and alcohol use among Latinx sexual minority youth. He also identifies as Salvadoran American.
