Ana Teresa Flores is a doctoral student in the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work, interested in psychosocial interventions for schizophrenia, community implementation, cultural adaptations, and mental health disparities in the diverse Latinx population. She earned her MSW from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work and her BA in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino. Her background includes extensive work in California’s San Bernardino and Riverside county mental health systems. She is currently working on social cognition in schizophrenia research and cross-cultural measurement validation for schizophrenia research instruments in the Latinx population.
