Natasha Bragg, MSW, LCSW, received a B.S. in sociology and psychology from Manchester College and a MSW from Washington University in St. Louis. Bragg has 10 years of professional social work practice experience in the fields of healthcare, geriatrics, and psychotherapy. Bragg is presently a Ph.D. candidate at the Indiana University School of Social Work; she has served as an educator in BSW and MSW courses for the past seven years. Her research interests surround anti-racist, critical whiteness, and feminist theoretical applications in social work pedagogical experiences and processes; liberation and transformative practices in the scholarship of teaching and learning in social work; social work education’s commitment to environmental justice; and social work's future with mutual aid organizations. Bragg’s dissertation is entitled, “Teaching Race & Racism in Social Work Education: A Thematic Analysis of Social Work Educators’ Experiences and Attitudes”.
