Christina Cazanave has a BSW from Saint Leo University. She went on to earn her MSW from the University of Central Florida. She teaches full-time as an Instructor and Director of Field Education for the Undergraduate Social Work Program at Saint Leo University. She has over ten years of experience in child welfare and school social work, concentrating on drop-out prevention and at-risk youth. Mrs. Cazanave has presented at workshops on relationship building with at-risk youth, civic engagement, and advancing policy practice. She is affiliated with the Association for Community Organization and Social Administration, Social Policy Institute, the National Drop Out Prevention Center/Network, and the National At-Risk Education Network. Mrs. Cazanave is the Legislative Chair for the National Association of Social Work – Florida Chapter.
