Jin Yao Kwan, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow at the Graduate School of Social Work, University of Denver. His work broadly focuses on the positive development and well-being of adolescents and young adults, especially those from low-income and marginalised families. In particular, he examines the familial relationships and community support to which they have access as well as the structural and policy implications of poverty and inequality.

Dr. Kwan also runs socialservice.sg, a website, podcast, and newsletter dedicated to social service research, practice, and policies in Singapore.
