Lukas Champagne is a doctoral student at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. His research interests include immigrant and refugee rights, community organizing, race and inequality, and historical methods. Lukas earned his master’s degree in social work from the University of Chicago, where he focused on international social work, as well as a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in human rights from the University of California, Davis.
