Elizabeth Jurczak is a PhD student at the University of Connecticut. Her current research interests focus on health equity and medical social work. As a former medical social worker, Elizabeth is interested in interprofessional collaboration, tobacco control, and the experiences of vulnerable patient populations. Prior to pursuing graduate studies at UConn, Elizabeth worked as a Clinical Research Counselor at the Yale School of Medicine. She earned her MSW and BA degrees from Rutgers University and is a licensed social worker in the state of New Jersey, and a licensed master social worker in the state of New York.
