Kirsten DiNicola is a doctoral candidate in the School of Social Welfare at the University at Albany. Prior to entering into academia, Kirsten worked in both the government and nonprofit sectors. She brings experience and knowledge to her current station from her time in direct practice and administrative roles within child welfare. Her research interests include the impact of technology-enhanced practices and digital inequalities on service outcomes and the workforce; as well as workforce retention in human services.
