CJ Sorenson is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of Field Education in the Social Work Department at Utah State University. Previously he served for 10 years as the coordinator for the BSW program across 7 rural statewide campuses. CJ also owns and directs Resilience Counseling Services in Logan, UT where he has engaged in clinical social work practice for 10 years. He is currently a doctoral student in the DSW program at Tulane University. CJ has presented locally and nationally on topics related to mental health, suicide prevention, and teaching and learning in social work.
