Assistant Professor
Weber State University
Ogden, Utah, United States
Since completing his PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012, Dr. Lee has been committed to research in the areas of refugee healthcare and mental healthcare access and disparities. When Dr. Lee moved to Utah and started a private practice, the majority of his clients were seeking support as they transitioned away from the high-demand Mormon church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). Though he continues his work with immigrants and refugees, Dr. Lee is also interested in using practice informed research and research informed practice to improve the clinical skills of those who support people experiencing transitions of faith away from high-demand religions.
