Kortney A. Carr, LCSW, LSCSW (she/her) is an Associate Professor of Practice and Ph.D. student at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare. While primarily teaching at the graduate level, she focuses on assisting students in building advanced, multi-level, culturally informed practice skills. Her scholarly interests include exploring the experiences of social isolation among Black men along the dimension of socio-emotional well-being and what aspects of survival affect their experience of social isolation in the U.S.
