Cardacia Davis, MSW is the Director of Field Education, Adjunct Professor of Social Work in both graduate and undergraduate courses; Intro to Social Work, Child Welfare, Clinical Practices with Groups, and coordinates study abroad to Ghana. Cardacia is the Baccalaureate Child Welfare Education Program (BCWEP) Campus Coordinator and Masters Child Welfare Education Program (MCWEP). While at Ramapo she has developed over 100 new BSW and MSW field placements and maintained over 200 field placements each year. Cardacia leads both the BSW nd MSW Field Department, the Field Readiness Trainings and Field Orientation for micro and macro practice students. With a focus on educational success within field placements, she works with Ramapo Faculty and Staff to develop on campus interdisciplinary collaborations that meet students’ multiple educational and financial needs. Cardacia serves as the co-advisor for the Social Work Club and serves on the BSW and MSW Admissions Committee, MSW and BSW Program Accreditation Review, and Middle States Accreditation Committee. She is the recipient of the Ramapo President’s Staff Leadership Award, Outstanding Commitment to Social Work Award, Student Recognized Office of Specialized Services Award, and the Ramapo BSW Social Work Club Award. Within Cardacia’s private sphere, she is a Compliance Advisor for intellectually disabled adults with a dual diagnosis of mental health issues. She supervises a team of Quality Assurance Specialists who adhere to DDD licensing standards and agency policies. She leads conversations surrounding the person-centered approach and learning journeys. She conducts investigations, trainings, and community recruitment.
