Alexander Chern, MD, is a resident physician of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia/Weill Cornell). He received his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and his B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. His research interests include music perception and appreciation, cochlear implantation, and the effects of hearing loss on the brain.
