Anna Messner, MD is Chief of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital, a leading national and international provider of high-quality, innovative, family-centered pediatric ENT care. Dr. Messner joined the TCH team in 2019 after spending 23 years on the faculty of Stanford University where she was chief of pediatric otolaryngology and the residency program director. Clinically, she is experienced in all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology and in recent years has had a special interest in the area of obstructive sleep apnea, ankyloglossia (tongue-tie) and care of the child with craniofacial disorders. Dr. Messner is a leader in pediatric otolaryngology and a Past-President of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. She is actively involved in the training of physicians and is currently completing a 6-year term on the national Otolaryngology residency review committee for the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Messner serves as a Senior Examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and is also the Associate Editor for Pediatrics for Laryngoscope.
