Julia Noel, MD, FACS is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Noel completed her undergraduate work in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and Economics at the University of California in San Diego. She remained at UCSD for medical school, then relocated to Stanford University, where she completed her residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. She then pursued a fellowship in Endocrine Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford. She specializes in surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, and has specific expertise in advanced and recurrent thyroid cancer, minimally invasive approaches, and ultrasound guided techniques in the office. Her research interests lie in ablative technologies for benign and malignant thyroid disease, as well as translational approaches to aggressive thyroid cancers.
