Nolan Seim, MD, FACS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and James Comprehensive Cancer Center. After earning his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas, he completed residency at The Ohio State University followed by a fellowship in Head and Neck Cranial Base and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a head and neck surgical oncologist, he specializes in treating and reconstructing a wide variety of pathologies and disorders of the upper aerodigestive tract, mandible and midface, skull base, thyroid, parathyroid, salivary glands, and skin. He also specializes in transoral robotic surgery treating malignant neoplasms of the oropharynx and supraglottic larynx using the single port robotic system. From a reconstructive perspective, Dr Seim is a trained microvascular surgeon performing both free tissue transfer as well as various locoregional reconstructions. He is currently the Director of Medical Student Education in his Department of Otolaryngology and the Director of the Annual International Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery Resident Dissection Course held in Dayton, Ohio.
