Maria Armache is a medical graduate from the American University of Beirut Medical Center. She graduated from medical school in 2020 and joined the department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as a research fellow in 2021, where she still currently works. She collaborates with rhinologists, skull base surgeons, head and neck surgeons, and sleep surgeons on a regular basis, designing and implementing both prospective and retrospective research protocols and studies. She has worked after her graduation in 2020 as a volunteer intern for COVID relief at the American University of Beirut, and as a volunteer for Beirut Blast relief efforts. She moved to the US in 2021. Her research interests include surgical management of Thyroid Eye Disease, management of AERD, improvement of quality of life of patients with head and neck cancers, and surgical management of sleep disorders.
