The City of San Diego has begun construction on Phase 1 of the $1B+ Pure Water project to clean recycled water to produce 30 MGD of high-quality purified water, reducing the City’s dependence on imported Water. The Parsons-Black & Veatch Joint Venture is the City’s Construction Management team for the Treatment Plant projects of the program, providing overall management and inspection for the City on over $750M of construction work. The project team will also provide overall coordination and management across the entire program during startup and commissioning of the full system during the integration period.
