I grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and after completing my bachelor's degree (Biology and Psychology) at the University of Virginia in 2012 and spending a few years out in the real world, I returned to Chapel Hill to complete medical school (Class of 2018) and psychiatry residency (Class of 2022) at the University of North Carolina. I completed a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship at UNC joined the UNC CLP faculty in 2023. I have a special interest in clinical informatics and have been part of efforts to incorporate more clinical informatics training into psychiatry residency at UNC.
