Dr. Swartz is a Fellowship trained neuropsychologist with specialization in the area of brain injury and brain injury rehabilitation. Prior to coming to Loyola, Dr. Swartz was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland, and led the outpatient neuropsychology service for the Outpatient Neurology Rehabilitation Program, and was the Director of the Concussion / mTBI Symptom Management Program. Dr. Swartz has participated in mulitple multi-site NIH funded research projects measuring neurocognitive functioning in medical conditions such as cancer and brain injury.
