Dr. Zimmermann is a Post-Doctoral Associate working with the Lifeline for Moms team to develop and evaluate approaches to increase access to perinatal mental health care. Her research focuses on developing scalable interventions to prevent perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She has recently been awarded funding from the UMass Implementation Science & Practice Advances Research Center (iSPARC) to identify barriers and facilitators to implementing prevention interventions in obstetric settings. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of perinatal individuals and their families.
