Linda Brenckle is a Project Director for the Lifeline for Moms Center in the Department of Psychiatry at UMass Chan Medical School. She has been involved with perinatal health research for the past 10 years, and for the past seven years, has managed Center-based research operations for multiple research studies related to perinatal health. These studies have included the Parental Mental Health sub-study of the National Children’s Study, the Program in Support of Moms (PRISM) Study, the Evaluating Lifeline for Moms (ELM) and Evaluating Lifeline for Moms Enhancement (ELM Enhancement) studies, and the Support Models for Addiction Related Treatment (SMART) Trial. In addition to her research operations work, she has also coordinated evidence-based development of the Lifeline for Moms Perinatal Mental Health Toolkit, and the Guide for Integrating Perinatal Mental Healthcare into Obstetric Practice.
