I graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in 2020. I am currently a PGY-3 in general psychiatry residency at UCLA-Kern Medical in Bakersfield, California. I am currently a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Minority Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. I recently joined the American Psychiatric Association Council for Research as a Research Fellow member. I have published 8 peer-reviewed manuscripts during my time in residency thus far. I am the principal investigator for a research project in my community that aims to increase the number of culturally sensitive psychiatry residents who can provide medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, this project is supported by a federally funded grant. I am a psychiatry administrative editor for StatPearls and am actively engaged as a peer reviewer for other journals. I have strong interests in research, consultation-liaison psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry.
